DAY 4: JOURNEY TO THE SACRED VALLEY & MACHU PICCHU

Continue to the hilltop ruins of Pisaq, known for its impressive terraces and finely built Inca temples, followed by time at the vibrant Pisaq Market, famous for its traditional silverwork. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, then explore the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, with its monumental walls, ancient channels, and legendary fortress, before transferring to the train station. We will be arriving to Aguas Calientes around 20:45.
Evening Arrive in Aguas Calientes and check in to your hotel. Your guide will visit to provide tips and details for the next day’s Machu Picchu adventure.

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU: THE INCAN MARVEL

08:30 Embark on a thrilling half-day adventure through the Southern Valley Southern Valley, discovering Tipón – the ingenious Incan Water Temple, Piquillacta – a mysterious pre-Inca citadel, and the stunning San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas Church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of Peru.” Immerse yourself in history, culture, and awe-inspiring Andean landscapes at every turn. The tour is expected to conclude around 15:00.

DAY 7: WAQRA PUKARA: ANDES LANDSCAPES & ANCIENT FORTRESS
04:00 We’ll pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and begin a scenic 1.5-hour drive, followed by a delicious buffet breakfast made with fresh local products. We then continue for another 1.5 hours to Santa Lucía (upper area), where the hike begins. Along the route, admire Pomacanchi Lagoon, picturesque Andean village, llamas, alpacas, and, if we’re lucky, vicuñas, as well as locals dressed in traditional attire. You’ll pass through diverse ecosystems, rocky formations, and farmlands. A final 1h 40m hike leads to Waqra Pukara, surrounded by luch vegetation, hummingbirds, and streams. Return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m.

DAY 8: BACK TO LIMA
